Liberal talk radio comes to San Antonio

Gee, thanks, Clear Channel!!

The mighty media megolith that is Clean Channel Communications has seen fit to bless San Antonio with a progressive talk radio station.

Thanks to Ranten N. Raven and Alamo City Commando for the heads up on this.

KRPT will sign on the air Thursday morning at 8AM on 92.5FM. It will feature shows by Jerry Springer, the former TV shock-talk host turned progressive politico, and Ed Schultz, a former football star and sportscaster based in Fargo, N.D. with a progressive/populist appeal.
I'd still like to be able to hear Air America with Al Franken, but I guess beggars can't be choosers. So at least now when I challenge my conservative friends to come up with even one liberal advocacy show on TV or radio they will have something to point to.
